Hosted/Guided Peru Trips
There are two trips up-coming that we are currently putting together.
The first trip is a jungle fishing trip – October 1st through the 13th , 2012. We have two areas to visit, both with-in the Amazon Basin. The first to Puerto Maldonado, and the head waters to the Madre De Dios Drainage. The second to Iquitos, the headwaters of the Amazon. Target species include: Payara, Peacock bass, Tiger Fish, Golden Dorado, Pirahna, and many other species of fish. This trip will be run in conjunction with greentracks in the Iquitos portion of the visit, and exploratory on the Puerto Maldonado side. Rates and packages soon to be released. Email here to inquire – [email protected] This trip is not yet confirmed, check back for more information.
The second trip is a combo trip and is: January 19th – March 19th 2013. We call this the snowbirds trip, with a primary focus on coastal visits: beach, sun, surf and fun. Many thing to see in do, all in a hot climate. Minimum planned stay should be at least two weeks. Places we like are: Chan Chan, Huanchaco, Pachamaca, Museum visits to Museo de los tumbes de Senor Sipan. Fishing the coast for: Dorado, Giant Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and other deep water species, with options of fishing in the rocks for grouper and other in-shore species. Deep meditations and Yoga spas are available, and nice accomodations, thermal mud baths. Can surf as many breaks as you want and chase the swell and the best conditions. Best and most cosistent left waves in the world. Including the worlds longest left wave at Puerto Malbrigo (Chicama). Kite surfing is great, and happens a lot to the north with consistent on-shore winds in the afternoons.
It is possible to visit the Andes and the Jungles, but with a sixty percent chance of rain. This is the Andean winter, which can produce heavy rain-fall at times. Mud-slides, river’s above their banks, and other disasters are not uncommon, causing travel delays. Having cautioned you, we have done both the Andes trekking piece, and the Amazon jungle in the rainy season without too many major inconveniences. The key to this trip is taking the maximum amount of time off, so you can allow for delays if you are seeking The Andes or The Jungle.

Our personal schedules will be for the first half of the trip in the Cusco region, and the second half in the the northern beach areas. We can arrange as little or as much as you like or host and guide you through any of it. Email us here when you know what you would like to plan and prepare for the trip of a lifetime.
